We are FACES at TAMS, and we are raising funds in support of Heart House, an organization whose work has a powerful and lasting impact on our local community.

Heart House is a Dallas-based nonprofit dedicated to serving refugee, immigrant, and underserved children, many of whom face significant barriers both in and out of the classroom. Located in the Vickery Meadow community, Heart House provides a safe, welcoming environment after school where students receive academic support, literacy assistance, social-emotional learning, and mentorship. These programs help children build confidence, stability, and essential life skills.

Beyond academic help, Heart House focuses on nurturing the whole child. By fostering emotional well-being, resilience, and a sense of belonging, the organization empowers students to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
