Hi everybody. My name is Kailey Magin and this is my cardiac alert service dog, Wendell.
Wendell has saved my life. He came along and took away my fear, and gave me back my independence. I was finally able to start living my life again with Wendell by my side.
This is really hard for me to talk about, but Wendell is sick. He got sick really suddenly about three days ago, and started having cumulative petit mal seizures. He had to be hospitalized for two nights before he stabalized. He's been diagnosed with epilepsy.
The vet bills have been astronomical, and we only expect them to grow. I want to do everything I can to get my boy healthy again, to keep him happy and healthy, but I need help. We already owe several thousand dollars, and we aren't sure what the monthly expense for medications is going to be yet.
My ultimate hope is that we can find the right medication that will stabalize Wendell's condition, and that I will slowly be able to introduce him back to service work.
Please, if you have even a dollar to spare, consider donating it, so that I can help save the dog that saves me. I could never thank you enough, but I will be forever in your debt. Thank you so much for reading.
