Hibbard field was built in 1946-47 and has served our community for over 60 years being a full sized baseball field in the City of Yreka CA.  Many of the players who have started playing baseball here have gone onto baseball in college as well as professionally.

The Friends of Hibbard took over the management and maintenance of Hibbard field 5 years ago.  During this time we have replaced the infield, put in a warning track, built new restrooms, replaced the sprinklers, put in new fencing in front of the dugouts and added another batting cage.

The next project is to replace the stands, they were built in the late 1940's and have served our many fans well through the years.  The field is used by Yreka High School, Little League, Babe Ruth League and many others.
