The Opportunist goes to Cannes!

It's been quite the journey over the last few months as we've made The Opportunist. From a little idea in November, to an exciting production in January, we now have our biggest announcement yet.
The Opportunist has been selected to screen during Critics' Week at the Cannes Film Festival in France! It will be the only American short screening in competition during the entire festival.
This is the best news we could have possibly hoped for. We've worked hard to make every dollar stretch along the way, but we're struggling to make this experience a possibility on our original budget.
Cannes has brought with it a host of costs that we never anticipated - with your help, we can make it happen! Here's a sampling of how your contributions will help:
-In order to screen the film at Cannes we need to make a Digital Cinema Package (DCP) - a high-resolution version of the film that can play at theaters across the world (including screenings in Beirut, Sao Paulo, and Bucarest)
-Promoting the film abroad, including press materials, events and logistics
-Travel expenses for the cast and crew
