Fund for Derek Daniel's Children

This is the official fundraiser sponsored by the Northern California Renaissance Faire on behalf of the Daniel Children.  Lisa Stehl and Michelle Amsbury are hoping to raise funds to secure a home and furnishings for the children for the next year here in Hollister where they are enrolled in school.  The custody of the 5 children, ages 2 through 9 have been voluntarily surrendered by the mother to the oldest sibling Sarah Daniel age 24.  We sincerely hope the best for the mother’s grieving and recovery process through these very difficult times, and look forward to the family being reunited in the future.   These funds will enable the children to move forward and have a fresh start at life and a real home.

Derek was a wonderful person loved by all and the future of his children is of the utmost importance to us. 

Michelle Amsbury will be the Executor of the funds.  She will distribute money monthly for their Housing, utilities and other necessities.

Our Goal is $30,000.00.  Any money raised above and beyond that will go toward their continuing care.

Derek was good spirited, always had a smile and willing to take time to help others.  We are devastated and heartbroken to have lost him at such a young age and we feel the care of his children is the best way to honor his memory, as he loved them so very much.
