My name is Moriah Carter, I am 21 years old & I am a missonary. I have recently returned from a DTS(Discipleship Training school) based in Mexico, where I had a three-month lecture phase where I was trained for missions, and then went on to outreach for an additional two months. During my lecture phase God put a calling on my life to start orphanages specifically in India. To God’s great planning & provision I was able to go to India for outreach. There God truly broke my heart for the people there, and for every lost child who has never heard the great news that is the gospel. I know God is calling me back there, the time of which I don’t know, but I do know that I am in a season of preparation. “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God.” Isaiah 40:3. I feel like I am in the wilderness now, not sure of when the Lord is coming, but I know that I am suppose to prepare myself, which is why I am writing this.
During my DTS I also felt the Lord tugging on my heart to do a CSBS (Chronological school of biblical studies). Although reading is definitely not my strongest suit, I am truly excited to set aside time to dive into to Gods word. Specifically, to learn more about His character, and reach a deeper knowledge & revelation of who He is to me, and how I can bring who HE is to others. To be able to stand on my own faith by what I know through the scriptures, to be able to prepare myself to go out & share it with others. Boldly, with the knowledge and the courage that the Holy Spirit has helped to guide me through.
This specific bible school is a nine-month program from September-July, where we go through each book of the bible chronologically over three times. We use what is called the inductive method which is a three step method; observation, interpretation, & application. The cost of my room, board, tuition, and local outreach cost into the community will be about & $7,290. This school runs by a trimester span, so at the begging of each semester I will be expected to pay $2,430.66. I am humbly asking for you to partner with me in prayer for this new season of my life, and if God is laying it on your heart then to also partner with you financially. Even if its only five dollars a month it helps. I have seen God’s miracles before & His amazing provision for me and the plan HE has for my life. Thank you for your time & your prayers.
