Help the Scott Family

On the morning of Wednesday, 10/2 Ramona resident, Michelle Scott, was struck on her bicycle in a hit and run and left on the side of the road with critical injuries. As of Friday evening, the driver of the vehicle hasn't been identified and Michelle remains in the hospital in critical condition with no prognosis of what her future will look like.

Michelle and her husband, Don Scott, are active members in multiple volunteer programs in Ramona. Don is currently the Program Manager of Ramona's Community Emergency Response Team also known as CERT. Both Michelle and Don unselfishly serve their community and have been known to help evacuate the elderly in rainstorms, shovel mud out of strangers homes or make repairs to those in need often covering the costs themselves. They work closely with the fire department in the event of a catastrophic emergency and are the unsung pillars in our little town of Ramona.

This GoFund Me campaign is an attempt to help relieve some of the financial burden that the Scott family will face and allow Don to remain by Michelle's side for the unknown future. Thank you for your consideration and support. Please keep Michelle in your prayers.
