Harry's Hope

I am starting this campaign to raise money for my son Harrison's battle with cancer. Harry is 21 yrs old and recently diagnosed with a very rare cancer called Malignant Periphereal Nerve Sheath Tumor (MPNST). It originated in his neck with a tumor growing amongst and around his arteries, neves and muscles and vertebrae. Surgery was performed to remove 10cm x 10cm x 6cm mass. They had to leave a portion behind as it was too attached to his brachial plexus, jugular, caratoid and other main arteries.
Since his surgery the sarcoma has mestasised into his brain which we have treated with agressive radiation.
He starts 7 weeks of radiation 5 days a week to hopefully slow down the primary site in his neck. His prognosis is not good .
After his radiation I would like to take him to naturopath or holistic healer as it can't hurt to try and maybe on a nice trip while he is still able to travel. But these things cost money which unfortunately I do not have. I kon't even have a car to take him to his appointments as mine is no longer running. So I borrow vehicles from friends and family which is stressing me out and I need to concentrate on making every day he has left count.
If anyone deserves this it is Harrison, one of kindest, funny, thoughtful young man you have ever met who has been dealt a really shitty hand in life. All through elementary, junior and senior high he was constantly bullied but that never stopped him from showuing up everyday and graduating from Grade 12. Then just as he is beginning the next chapter in his life he is informed that there is a good chance this cancer will kill him in a year.
All I wish for is to make him as happy and hopeful as I can.
So maybe with your help we can make some of his dreams come true!!
