My grandfather passed away yesterday 9/6/16 from his battle with cancer. everyone that knew my grandpa knew what kind of man he was. He was a caring person who would do anything for anyone. He was a war hero, and a grandpa to all. Everyone that knew him knew him as "pops".
Today my mother and sister faced the harsh reality of needing to take care of a loved one with his final resting place. Grandpa only purchased his plot next to Grandma. He had no life insurance policies and any money he had paid his medical bills.
My mother was able to finance portion of the funeral costs, however, we need to come up with $6,000.00 two days before the funeral 9/15.
Anything to help will go a long way to ensure he is taken care and to lessen the financial burden on my mother.
