The Bisbee Séance is a theatrical performance created by Magic Kenny Bang Bang (Kenny Stewart) of Tucson, AZ. Blending local Bisbee history, theatrical sleight-of-hand and audience participation, Magic Kenny performs for small intimate audiences in historic locations, creating yet another facet of Bisbee culture and entertainment that has earned it the “#1 Small Town to Visit in America” by USA Today in April of 2016.
As a professional magician, Magic Kenny has been entertaining audiences for decades, from private parties to adult cabaret productions. Over the years, Kenny has developed a special passion for Bisbee, it’s culture and it’s astonishing darker history. For the last several years, Magic Kenny has been touring Bisbee historical venues, performing his blend of magic, history and fascination for the paranormal for visitors and locals alike. Magic lovers as well as supernatural enthusiasts have been entertained and amazed, and as shows have become more popular, the need to find a home for this unique experience grows.
Making the Bisbee Séance a permanent part of the Bisbee main street is now possible with your support. Bisbee local, Ed Smith, has offered his historic space for lease, while local and notorious artist, Clif Taylor, has pledged his skills for renovations. With your donation or Limited Edition Ticket purchase, you can help Magic Kenny and his team of friends and associates transform a historic store-front on Brewery Gulch Rd into a permanent home and attraction in this already spicy landscape. All contributions are appreciated and will go to the funding for renovations (period restoration with an oh-so-spooky flavor), merchandise and souvenirs, liability and business insurance and other expenses related to the endeavor. In addition to general donations, 1000 Limited Edition and hand-numbered tickets will be sold for $25 each, entitling the bearer open admission to a séance date of their choosing, without expiration.
