Help for the Family of Silas Malone

My name is Casey, and in late summer 2004 I went to culinary school. I wanted to be a pastry chef. They had dorms and we were all assigned rooms. Ours was 7009.  I was the second roommate to arrive, the first was Fran. Immediately, I could tell we would be friends.  Amy, Mel, and Caroline arrived later, and 7009 was the best dorm room in the history of all dorm rooms. Period.

Fran has always been so selfless, kind, beautiful. Never judged, always helped, and always "mothered" us. I can remember her making me coffee every morning before school and feeding me various delicious concoctions for our Law and Order: SVU marathons with her cat, Miss Cleo.

Things change, people move forward. Fran married the love of her life, Brian (who she would never stop talking about... ever) and they started a family. Carson and Eleni. Then... surprise! twins! Marianna and Silas.

Tragically and suddenly, life for this family has been changed forever. Silas, at the age of 3, was lost to the family, and to the world. No one is prepared to lose a child. No one should have to deal with something this devastating.

Please help me in raising funds for this beautiful family in their time of need. Hopefully, together we will raise enough to cover funeral expenses, and with any luck we will have more than enough for whatever else they will need in this very difficult time. Any amount you contribute will help.
