For over 20 years my father, Robert Brown, has suffered from emphysema. As a result he has missed the chance to fully participate in life. Today, after years of strenuous tests, he was finally added to the list to receive a lung transplant. The initial cost of his medication will be approximately $10,000 out of pocket.
