Hi, my name is Ed,  Ive played music my whole life, usually as part of a band playing someone elses songs, which I loved. Playing  and writing music and lyrics is  the air that I breath. I can't imagine no longer being able to do it. Three years ago I was diagnosed with cancer in my throat and Lymph nodes this warranted surgery, a radical neck excision which removed all the tissue that may have contacted with the cancer cells. It was dramatic. I then had 6 weeks of Chemo 5 days a week, 15 minutes per exposure, also pretty dramatic but the cancer disappeared and Ive been trying to get on my feet ever since. I'm a professional musician but post operative complications have been many and Im still in recovery mode. It became very important that I record the backlogue of songs that I had written over the years, and Ive been lucky as a dear friend let me use his studio for a while and we did an online release of an EP last year. I also assembled a working band to promote my recordings but due to ongoing problems from radiation treatment Ive not been able to work much and I still have 7 tracks ready to mix but absolutely no money to make it happen. Id like to release this album on CD and Vinyl, my previous recordings are online downloads - it's just not the same. To be able to complete this project would be the fulfillment of a lifes dream for me the money raised would go directly to the studio and for the Artwork and Vinyl releases. In order to get back into my life as an entertainer I desperately need a high quality project to promote and give me the leg up I need to be self sufficient. I will be eternally grateful for any donation big or small to reach my goal. I should mention Im a married father of 3 wonderful children and everything we have goes into maintaining their welfare.
