Warren runs Grand2Grand
Donation protected
On the 25th September 2016 I will be competing in the Grand2Grand , a grueling 170 mile (273km) adventure over seven days. The race starts on the North rim of the Grand Canyon and takes runners across the Utah and Arizona deserts to the Grand Staircase with a total ascent of 5 500m. Runners must carry their own food, clothing and equipment for the week with only water and tents being provided.
I am running in aid of The Emasithandane Children's Project, a charity close to my heart. “Emasi” is an orphanage in Cape Town that my family have been visiting and supporting for many years. Emasi cares for children who find themselves without a safe home, many of whom have been orphaned through AIDS. Emasi provides a loving home, feeding and educating up to 55 children at any time. Using education and sport as well as a warm and loving environment the children have real hope of a better life as they grow up. With no official funding and relying on donations any funds raised make a huge difference to these young children’s lives.

With sincere thanks for any donation you feel able to give to support this very good cause.
Warren
PS For anyone who wants to follow my progress race updates will be posted here . News on the race will also be posted on the Grand to Grand Ultra Facebook Page on a more frequent basis.
