In Memory of Todd Martin
Donation protected
We all pass by them, never thinking to stop and help; always in a hurry, our time is much too valuable or our clothes too clean. We never think twice about the danger of being on the side of the road as we race on by, not taking a second glance in our rearview mirror. But a tow truck driver will unselfishly stop, with a kind heart and warm smile to aid a stranded soul. Notbecause it's their job, but because it's what they love to do. Road warriors we call them, and Todd Martin was amongst a brotherhood of many. It is never easy to lose a friend, father, husband, or brother – yet, with a heavy and broken heart, we must say good-bye to one of our own.
While many were enjoying their Labor Day; bidding farewell to the summer days, swimming with friends and enjoying a well-deserved day off, to the Martin family, this was a day without celebration. September 5th 2016 will forever be stained by tears shed and the sad memory of losing their beloved, Todd. For those who knew Todd, and for those who didn’t – please allow me the opportunity to tell you about the life so suddenly and unexpectedly taken. He was more than a road warrior – he was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a loyal friend. Having worked for Pro Star Towing for many years, it is safe to say that Todd left an impression on anyone he encountered, both on the job and off. He sacrificed time with his family to drive from Modesto to the Bay Area to provide for his family. He was respected in our small community of drivers and will be missed by all.
Todd’s death has left a void in our lives and our hearts, especially for the Martin family as this emptiness will never subside. Apart from the sadness his death has left, the financial impact will surely remind his family that he is forever gone. Our intent with this page, is to humbly ask for any donation to the Martin family to help with final expenses and provide a bit of solace knowing that Todd’s band of brothers have once again taken care of one of their own. Rest in peace, brother. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten.
