Our dear friend, Tess Hoff, is entering the fight of her life against breast cancer, just three years after she experienced the tragic loss of her beloved daughter and only child, Aimee. Because of other health issues, she is highly concerned about surviving chemotherapy and so is currently working with specialized doctors and exploring holistic/alternative medical options and considering a mastectomy. She has also been referred to an oncologist who is also a hematologist and hormone specialist. Because of her unique health concerns, she requires a hematologist and so this is a must, and is a move in a positive direction.
The current challenge is that she has a $6000 deductible on her health insurance that needs to be satisfied before she can move forward with specialized testing and/or surgery, and that will reset on January 1st, when she will require another $6000, and that's not even taking into account her 80/20 split for co-pays. In addition, the latest innovative medicine that she may need will not always be covered by insurance, nor will expenses not directly medical in nature (i.e cost of living expenses such as housing, which will become harder to manage as her loss of income diminishes as her physical symptoms intensifies).
We humbly ask for your help to make sure that Tess will be able to fight this fight with the resources that she needs.
