Family, Friends, Strangers, Pets,
While I am most grateful for those in my life who have helped me become the man that I am today, I am extremely grateful for the experiences and lessons that I've learned through rugby. Over the course of my seven (7) years of playing rugby, I have been fortunate enough to play throughout the States and more importantly, mature as a player and as an individual. After playing in one of North America's premier rugby tournaments (The Serevi Rugbytown Sevens tournament), I was invited to play with Stars Rugby (an American based select side) in the Byron Bay 7s tournament and the Central Coast Sevens tournament in Australia from October 13-25.
My goal for this campaign is to raise $2300. From this campaign, $1000 will go towards tour fees: jerseys, training gear, coaches, physio (sports trainers), 2 tournament entry fees, lodging, team meals and transportation. The remaining $1300 will go towards plane tickets.
This opportunity to play in one of the most challenging rugby tournaments means the world to me. Our team will be competing against some of the best clubs/ national development sides in the world. This tournament is an extraordinary opportunity for me to test myself against some of the best players in the world and against my most rivaled competitor- myself. With your help and support, I'll be one step closer to being the best player that I can possibly be. Thank you for your time, consideration and support. With parting words from author Sarah Ban Breathnach,
"The world needs dreamers and the world needs doers.
But above all, the world needs dreamers who do."
