TAKE A STAND AGAINST THEFT FROM A FAMILY IN NEED.
I have established a Go Fund Me account to ask the community of good people to help my brother in this time of need. You see; my brother has a wife, 3 amazing kids and 2 step sons by marriage. They used to live in California where we were raised since birth but due to the high cost of living had to relocate North Las Vegas with my sister in-law, nephew and nieces to be able to afford housing and raise his children.
As a skilled mechanic with the tremendous responsibility to raise 5 children he was recently laid off by his employer. Now this is the good part; being laid off was used as a way to finally step out of the shadow of being an employee and taking the leap towards his own business. We scraped together enough money to buy a mobile trailer, along with his already paid for truck and tools he has amassed over the last 20 years; a business was born.
Honestly, it was a big scary leap but he did it to some degree because he had no choice and the last few weeks were the happiest I had ever seen him. He was so excited to wake up every day and go build his dream and to serve others in a manner he felt that was putting the customer first; a mechanic you could trust and he intended on building his clientele with this in mind one customer at a time.
Well that dream was smashed this morning and his only means of a livelihood stolen when someone cut the alarm, hotwired the truck and drove off with his dreams. This was not only his dream but the only way to feed and house his family. This is not something that is easily fixed and he can’t just go back to looking for employment; 23 years of tools that are vital to his trade were stolen and to replace this is not only costly but time consuming.
As an entrepreneur and family man I know how much of an honor it is to be able to raise a family and I also know how scary it is to go out on your own to make your own way. No one should have to have their dreams dashed just when they are getting started and to also have the burden of not knowing how they are going to feed their families. Please help any way you can and take a stand against the underbelly of our society. I ask that we come together as a community of citizens who want to help those who want to help and serve others for the good of our society. No one should have to face failure just when getting started.
The money raised will be to purchase a vehicle and replace the bare necessity of tools needed to perform services offered. Any assistance will forever be remembered and honored.
