Hello friends, family, and colleagues. I have a wonderful student from Passaic, NJ who needs our help. Gabriel is an 8th grader who was diagnosed with a form of cancer, and although his strength & courage helps him keep the fight going, him and his family could use help in any way possible, as the possibility of the worst case scenario approaches. I visited Gabriel today at a hospice in Saddle River, NJ and I'm inspired by his courage. He is a wonderful young man who always tried his best in school and brought joy to all of his teachers and peers. THIS CAMPAIGN HAS BEEN EXTENDED AND RAISED! Due to the overwhelming response to this fundraiser, where the goal was met in less than 12 hours, I am not only raising the bar to $5,000.00, but the message has been spread to the other school families in our district! I cannot thank my colleagues, family, and friends for their support in this endeavor. We've had donations made not only from my hometown in New York, but donations from friends as far as North Carolina and Florida! I appreciate all of your help!!
