Support Vanessa's Fight Against Breast Cancer

UPDATE 8/14: Vanessa has completed chemotherapy!!!! YAY!!!! Her body will need to recover before reconstruction surgeries begin in a few weeks. She did lose most of her hair, keeping her hairline. She’s not discouraged though! She’s happy chemo is now behind her & can focus on the new journey. Vanessa is beyond appreciative & humbled with all your donations, help, thoughts, prayers & good vibes. She is still out of work until October & still facing a lot of financial hardships, including a HUGE recent & unexpected financial hurdle. We are very well aware & beyond appreciative of all the help that everyone has been so gracious to give. Any extra donations would be helpful with this recent hurdle. UPDATE 5/23: Vanessa needed a 2nd surgery two weeks ago but has been home & resting. With all of her test results back & consults with oncology/surgeons, she will beginning chemotherapy soon.

Vanessa is a dedicated nurse and a loving single mom to two incredible kids. She recently received the news that she has breast cancer—an unexpected challenge that she is facing with incredible strength and determination as she is undergoing a double mastectomy and uncertain treatment.

As someone who has spent her career caring for others, Vanessa is now the one in need of care and support. Balancing her recovery with raising her children and managing household responsibilities has created an overwhelming financial strain. This fundraiser will help ease the burden of medical expenses, time away from work, and daily costs, so Vanessa can focus on healing and being there for her kids.
