I pray that you are all doing well. Currently, my family & I are in a very stressful situation. To be completely honest, we’ve been attacked more than we’ve ever been before, and sadly this isn’t the first time. I realize more so than ever the enemy is trying his best to break us as a family because he knows what God has done thru us, what He is doing & will do.

Sadly, we are facing eviction. We owe two months' rent & late fees. Our water bill is overdue as well, which is due to be shut off any day now, as well as being late on our car insurance. Our vehicle also has engine & brake issues & is on its last legs.

Our landlord is in the process of filing for eviction later this week, & if we’re unable to secure the funds to pay what we owe ASAP, we literally have no options & nowhere to go. The owner states that he will go back to the magistrate to file for possession, which doesn't give us much time at all.

I realize we all have our own lives to live, bills to pay, families to raise, mouths to feed & times are hard for so many families. What makes matters more difficult is having a household struggling with mental health issues, including myself, & disabilities as well.

We are extremely desperate, anxious & quite scared. We also have 2 emotional support dogs that we can’t leave behind; they’re our family. I’d rather be transparent & say how it is presently. I hate being in this position, especially when you have people who will judge & criticize you for asking for help. We’ve been called “beggars” in the past & that broke my heart. Some forget how much money my husband & I invested into our community, serving troubled teens & young adults battling with drug addiction, mental health, suicide, bullying & gangs.

We know this struggle won’t last forever; it’s just temporary. If there’s any help you can provide & most of all prayer, it would be greatly appreciated.

We’ve tried many local organizations & haven’t gotten far; almost all have said they’re out of funding. I am presently awaiting for my SSDI case to be approved as well as looking for a possible remote work-from-home part-time position. My eldest daughter is working at PJ Whelihan's as a cook, but can only do so much.

My husband Angelo, as some of you know, is a working actor in the Union (SAG-AFTRA) who is carrying on his father’s legacy, an actor & marine, after losing him to suicide in 2017 at the age of 60. However, since COVID & the recent SAG-AFTRA strike, the acting opportunities haven't been cutting it; it’s been cut in half. He has been consistently seeking employment.

So with all this being said, we’re trying our best to stay afloat & are constantly playing catch up, and with a little help from our friends, we can make this stressful situation a better one so we don't have to tell our girls that we'd be homeless for the holidays!

Once again, we’re trying our very best to get things back in order & back on our feet so that we would never be in this position again. I can also provide proof as well to anyone that would need it from the landlord & courts. Any funds will be going solely to the landlord & the bills. In fact, we could even give you a direct contact to the landlord & funds could be sent directly to him to avoid anyone potentially questioning our motives or integrity.
