The Dreiling family is requesting help with expenses for their son's passing in Jackson, WY.

On August 31st, 2016, Rene Dreiling was involved in a climbing accident that untimely took his life at the young age of 21.  He was climbing Mount Owen, in the Teton Range in Grand Teton National Park.  He was an experienced climber and hiker, and an avid outdoors man.  We are all crushed by his passing, and are gathering donations for his parents Rich and Tammy.  Our hearts go out to them as no parent should ever have to bury their own child.

Rene came into our family 8 short years ago, but in those 8 years, he’s taken the life of everyone and changed it in a way that none of us can put into words.  He was an astounding brother, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and a man that we all could learn from.  He was always had a smile a mile wide no matter what he was doing, and his laugh would bring joy to anyone at any time just to hear him.  Rene was an avid rock climber and hiker.  He pursued his dream into the national parks and took his life to heights unfathomable by most.  He took everyone on his journeys no matter what the elevation was. 

Rene’s journey was unfortunately ended by a climbing accident that took his life at the young age of 21.  But that doesn’t mean his spirit won’t forever live on in our hearts, our memories, and our own journeys in life.  You left us too early Rene, but we all know that you left us doing something that you loved.
