On August 31, 2016 our family lost Dr. Koffitse Hilaire Atchon, a loving and devoted father and husband. He leaves behind his best friend and loving wife (Didi) and four beautiful children (Kenneth 13; Lilia 5; Eliana 5 and Benjamin 3). On Thursday August 25th, 2016, Hilaire was found unconscious by his elder child. After immediately being rushed to the hospital, he laid in a coma for several days. Sadly, he lost his battle and God called him home.
Koffitse Hilaire Atchon will be missed. He touched the lives of everyone he met. His kindness was incomparable; his commitment to education and the betterment of his community was evident in his career and church life. Koffitse got his masters degree in Public Health from UIC and was a Ph.D. candidate at Walden University.
Help is needed so he can be buried respectfully in his native country of Togo. No contribution is too small. Thank you for all your prayers and support during this difficult time.
