I no longer fit my prosthetic leg and it has become very loose. I have spent my whole adult life in jobs where I can help people. I am in need of a new socket because the one I have is to big and with it being loose it causes me to rub sores on my bottom. I lost my job the beginning of August and the new job I found barley covers my bills. I do not consider myself to be disabled I think of it as a slight impairment. My job is physically demanding at times and with a leg that does not fit properly it slows down my performance. Anything that you might be able to help with would be greatly appreciated. I am a father of 3 great kids and a loving husband. Please help me to help my family. Thank you in advance for your consideration. The amount I'm asking for might seem like a lot so here is a breakdown of what I need. New socket $13,500 (That's what my stump goes into) New Pylon $1,000 (connects the knee to the foot) $1600 for 2 new liners (so I can rotate them to make them last longer) $600 leg charger (yes it cost that much) and $ for Prosthetic socks that I place over my liner so the plastic doesn't rub me raw
