Spike George is in a fight for his life.  He has burned through his sick leave and annual leave.  He has been hospitalized three times in the last few months.  This has taken a toll on him physically, emotionally, and mentally.  Spike, his wife, and daughter face uncertain times.  They have been financially challenged to provide Spike with access to quality healthcare.  His short term disability is ending May 8, 2016.  After that, all of his medical bills and insurance payments come out of pocket.  To cover the cost of his medical insurance, alone,  is $2000 a month.  Spike anticipates 6 months until long term disability goes into effect.  All money earned will go to Spike to help offset medical costs and any other bills that his family will face.  Any help would be greatly appreciated by the George family during this very trying time.  Spike and family extend their most heartfelt thanks to their brothers and sisters in blue that have helped them and continue to help them.
