Don protégé
As many of you may know, this pregnancy has been quite a challenge. Around 8 weeks of pregnancy, Cory and I lost one of our sweet twins. By the grace of God, we are still blessed to have one sweet baby girl on the way.
However, I have faced a lot of health issues and concerns. I have an autoimmune disease, Sjogren's, as well as mitral valve prolapse, which has landed me in a high risk fetal specialist's office every other week, on top of my regular OB visits. But, this was just the beginning.
I kept facing flare ups in my right kidney, causing severe pain and infection, putting Mia and I in a bad situation. Finally, with my husband's support, I decided to have a nephrostomy tube placed which allows the fluid to drain off of the kidney. With this being done, I was told I am unable to work in this condition. My husband works his tail off 6 days a week, and with FMLA/disability questionable, our family is reaching out to ask for any support offered. I wish I could work, but for me and Mia's best interest, I can't. I am still enrolled in college courses online and pursuing that until I am able to work again. The money will go towards our medical expenses and bills.
