Hello, everyone
My name is Melanie Schuster and I am a writer. I had to retire from my full-time job due to medical reasons and my income was mainly long-term disability and Social Security disability. A few months ago my long-term disability was cut off and I am still trying to find out why and how it happened. Getting it reinstated will be a long, tedious journey if it even happens.
When my disability was taken away, so was my supplemental insurance. I owe thousands of dollars in medical bills because I had two procedures that should have been covered but weren't. I take a lot of medcation because I am diabetic and also have high blood pressure. Now that my supplemental insurance is gone, I can't afford my prescriptions. I am out of several medications and I have to take the ones I have every other day to make them last. I can't continue to do this because I am seriously jeopardizing my health. I must pay these bills so that my doctors will continue to treat me. I am under the care of several doctors due to my current medical condition. I have labored with poor health for several years, unfortunately.
I will use the funds to pay my bills and to get the medications I so badly need. I need help with this as soon as possible.
This campaign means the difference between a healthy life and a very sick one, so I hope that you can help. I have gone without my ulcer medication for three months and the daily pain makes life not worth living. I never thought I would be in this position and it is a humbling experience. I have often given to GoFundMe, but it never occurred to me that I might need some help one day.
It's hard to describe how grateful I will be for any help that anyone can offer. Any help you can give will be treasured and I will pay it forward because of the gratitude that will fill my heart. I come from a very small family and they aren't able to help me financially. I will consider anyone who is able to help me like a family member andI will never forget your generosity. God won't forget it either and He will bless you for your caring spirit.
