Kirstie's Cancer Before College

Our Niece found a swollen gland early July and was told it was benign, at first.  Towards the end of the month the words "You have Hodgkins Lymphoma, Cancer".  The shock took Her, and the family by storm.  How did this happen?  Why? She was weeks away from heading to F.S.U. to begin the next chapter of her life.  Now instead of incurring tuition expenses, books, etc.  The costs are a fight to kill the cancer: Doctor visits, chemo, hospital stays, medications, etc.  

We know she will fight this and Kick Cancer.  Soon she will be able to start her Freshman year as she had planned.   But the thought of all the expenses that will be flooding them soon is overwhelming.
 
As her aunt and uncle, and former T.N.T, LLS (Team in Training, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) members and captains, this has hit home.  We always ran for others whom had been battling. Now its at our door, in our home, invading our family.
