Andy Helmuth Benefit Fund

Our brother, Andy Helmuth, was in a two-vehicle accident on Friday evening, 9/2/16, in southern Illinois.  The driveshaft of an oncoming pick-up truck broke, causing the driver to lose control of his vehicle.  The pick-up truck slid sideways and crossed the center line, striking Andy’s van on the driver’s side.   Andy’s van went off the side of the roadway and rolled once, landing upside down.   Andy was airlifted to a Trauma ICU in Evansville, Indiana.  He sustained a fractured neck, head injuries, and multiple bruises and lacerations on his upper torso.  Andy is currently in a neck brace and will need extensive therapy and rehab as he recovers over the next 6-9 months.  Prior to the accident, Andy was working full-time in his own transportation business.  Andy, and his wife Joan, will need help with his medical expenses; costs related to therapy and follow-up after the release from the hospital, as well the loss of income for their daily living expenses.  Thank you for joining us in support of our brother.
