Corrine (Murray) John’s Medical Wage Recovery
Corrine (Murray) John is a single-income mom of three terrific kids, sons Patrick and Nolan and daughter Heather Demps, who supports and lives with her two sons in Chicago’s Edgewater community. Corrine is a long time member of the Edgewater Baptist Church and attended St. Gregory the Great High School.
Corrine (age 56) bravely battled and beat cancer in 2007 and 2013, but was diagnosed in 2016 with a recurrence.
Sadly, Corrine’s two sisters lost their cancer battles: Regina ‘Gina’ (Murray) Wasyliw passed at age 38 in 2000 & Caroline (Murray) Soto passed at age 54 in 2014.
We’re trying to raise $5,000 to carry Corrine through 2 months of anticipated lost wages while she undergoes her treatments in October and November 2016.
Corrine, a strong Christian and first time grandmother of baby Chloe, has been given a good prognosis. Her deep faith, family and friends keep her spirits high.
My name is Andrea Raila, also a cancer survivor, who traveled the cruel road that 2% of Americans get detoured onto each year. Corrine and I attended high school together, were roommates, watched our kids grow, and have shared 40 years of roadway friendship.
