FHS Aca Deca - Team to Victory

The Folsom High Academic Decathlon team has competed at the county  for the past three decades and has had such great success that we have gone on to compete at the state level for the past 9 years.  As the coach for the past two decades, I have done everything in my power to make sure that all students are able to attend seminars, scrimmages, competition and the banquet at little or no cost to the individual.  This year the cost is too high.  The success of the program has led to nearly 40 students enrolled this year, and in order to allow all students to compete equally we need approximately $3050. 

Now is your chance to "adopt" an individual decathlete for one event or for all the events; or you might choose to adopt the event for the entire team; or you may wish to donate to the cost of the bus or simply "purchase" the bus ride for us.  It's all a tax write-off as you are making a donation to Folsom High School, Academic Decathlon Team.  The Tax ID # is 94-6002505.

Items:
Scrimmage - $15 each student x 35 = $525
Competition - $20 each student x 35 = $700
Banquet - $30 each student x 35 = $1,050
       * One student for all three events - $65
Bus to Scrimmage - estimated $382
Bus to Competition - estimated $386

Any and all contributions would be greatly appreciated
by a hard-working, competitive group of students.

Any contributions beyond these estimated costs will be applied to additional needs of the program: curricular, additional bus costs, more students attending, cost to attend the state competition and future years of this program.
