In every community on the island of Puerto Rico, there are homeless animals. They are entering the municipal shelters at alarming rates and tragically most are euthenized due to overcrowding. At Second Chance Animal Rescue, we pledge to reduce the number of homeless animals through rescue, rehabilitation and placement. Sterilization is the key and in turn helps the overall health of our rescues. We currently have 40 in need of this surgery before they can be put up for adoption. Every day that passes is just one more day they must wait before being able to find their forever families. We are at a standstill with our efforts until we reach our finanical goal. If everyone gives even a little, we can accomplish anything.
