"Everybody loves Loretta!" – It’s not just a saying; it’s the truth. Anyone who’s met her knows why. A proud mom of four beautiful daughters, a doting Nani to 14 grandbabies, and a Yorkie “mom” to countless puppies who have found their way into the homes of loving families, Loretta is a light in everyone’s life.

She’s the kind of person who gives you a warm hug even if you’ve just met, and her smile can brighten even the darkest of days. She’s the heart of our family—and to so many others, she’s a friend, a mentor, and a caretaker. ❤️

For many years, Loretta opened her home and heart as a childcare provider. She loved each child like they were her own—like they were her precious grandbabies. Those kids weren’t just in her care—they were family. She spent every moment loving them and teaching them, sharing songs and laughter, and making them feel safe, Loretta was there for those children AND their families in every way, making sure they always felt loved and valued. Just like she always has for everyone else in her life!

But right now, the woman who’s always been there for all of us—showing up in countless ways with love, care, and selflessness—needs our help.

After bravely battling breast cancer, Loretta is now facing a much tougher fight: Lung Cancer. Stage 3. It’s devastating, and the pain is much worse than last time- its just unimaginable. Our hearts are breaking, and we’re filled with anger and disbelief. How can someone so full of life, so full of love, be facing this again? Its just so unfair!

Whether you know Loretta from her years of service at the credit union, or because she loved you and your kids like her own, from her friendly face at the Dollar Tree where she’s known for making everyone’s day, or through the many puppies she’s lovingly raised and found homes for—you KNOW how special she is. People go out of their way just to shop at her store because they want to see her smile. And those sweet Yorkie puppies? They're a direct reflection of her nurturing spirit. That’s just who she is—someone who pours her heart into everything she does!

Still reeling from the loss of her husband, who passed away almost two years ago, Loretta faces this fight alone—not just emotionally, but financially. It’s breaking our hearts to see her in pain, and we want to do everything we can to ease her burden.

Loretta has always been there for so many, and now, it’s our turn to be there for her. She has already endured so much! She's in far too much pain to keep working through this, like she did during her entire breast cancer battle, so medical expenses, the treatments, the travel -paired with the loss of income—they’re going to add up quickly!
