2nd Annual Her Voice Open Mic Fundraiser

Hi!!! We are The Black Girl Brown Girl Collective, created to celebrate womxn's expressionism by providing platforms for all women to share their art.

 

We are excited to announce that we will be back again for the 2nd Annual Her Voice Open Mic. The event will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 6:30pm till 9:30pm . Please feel free to view images of our past events at IG @bgbgcollective.

 

Your donations will contribute to the implementation of this event and allows for performers to share their work in a "safe space", but also will be an event for all people to enjoy different forms of art. This event is free for all to attend but donations would be much appreciated.

 

What this support means to us is having space for different artists in our community to be able to show a piece of themselves and have the potential to inspire those that are a witness. Words can't explain how grateful we are to have your support and helping us establish this event that's conducive to our health within our communities.  

 

Funds will be used for:

 

Marketing/Promo: $80

 

Outdoor lighting- $100

 

Event chairs- $85

 

Dj: $ 250

 

Event rental donation: $300

 

Creation of BGBG Collective as a non profit plus tax exemption cost: $250 (funds go to the event first, anything left over will go to this creation)

 

*No money goes to any members of the collective
