We have organized this funding effort in support of the Ratcliff family.  Earl Ratcliff Jr is the grandfather and caretaker of Johnny Clark, a fifth grader at Woodside Elementary School.  Johnny is a loving spirit who lights up the room. His grandmother, Kathie Ratcliff, is a favorite substitute teacher and always a kind presence on campus.  Earl has a serious medical condition that occurred at the start of school and is currently hospitalized.  If you don't know Earl well, he plays the trumpet and is a counselor to so many people.  He  does a lot of listening and only speaks when it matters.  Around school, he always has a smile on his face, and is a devoted primary caregiver of Johnny.   The funds raised will help the family with expenses related to this crisis.
