Sienna, Anne and Gavin

For those who know me no need for introductions, for those who don't my name is Nick Hayman.I have entered the Brecon Beacons Ultra on November 19th 2016, this is a 75km race around the Brecon Beacons. I have done this for one purpose, to raise money for a very special family, Anne, Gavin and Sienna Manley.In June of last year Anne and Gavin were given the worst news that any parent can be given. That their daughter, Sienna, has a terminal illness.I want you to take a moment and think about that.If you are a parent, close your eyes and imagine that was you. If you're not a parent imagine it's the person you love most in this world.Every time I do the feeling is just horrendous, indescribable and it brings tears to my eyes instantly.Anne and Gavin have been living through this nightmare every day since but the courage and the dignity they have showed whenever I have seen them has absolutely blown me away, they are simply amazing people and I feel very privileged to know them.Now imagine that on top of all that you still have to go to work to keep a roof over your head, put food on the table and pay your bills.I can't imagine it, that just seems absolutely impossible but again they have dealt with all of that.I would love for you to sponsor me with all the funds going to Anne and Gavin so that at least they don't have to worry about finances and can spend whatever time they like with Sienna without having to think, I need to leave now and go to work.I have faced a trial of my own these last few months with my fiancé Louise being very ill, hospitalised and at the beginning in a coma fighting for her life.A few days in I was walking down the corridor towards the ICU at John Radcliffe and I saw Anne and Gavin waiting outside for me.They had put aside what they are dealing with to come to the hospital to offer their love and support. On top of that this was the hospital that had given them that horrendous news and this was the first time they had set foot through those doors since that day, the strength that must have taken is unimaginable.I couldn't believe it, it's something I'll never forget, these two people and this family are truly special.So please open your hearts, dig deep and donate whatever you can, as much as you can.I promise to give everything I have on the 19th November and let's do something really special for them because they deserve it.I've seen what this group of friends is capable of so I'm asking for you to come together again.Please remember to forward, share, tweet and retweet this so this goes as far and wide as possible.Many thanks in advance Nick
