Help the Bennetts Fight Lyme

Donation protected

Meet the Bennett Family, Steve and Michelle, and their children Blake, Colton, Tristan, Faith, Samuel, Charity, Seth, and Joy.   The Bennetts are a homeschooling, adoptive family doing their best to live sustainably and to live for the Lord.  They are dear friends in a dire health situation.

Michelle and four of the children have Lyme Disease. Three of the family have contracted acute Lyme (including the adopted, special-needs, 3-year- old boy), which is treatable and curable, but costly and not covered by insurance.  Two have Chronic Lyme, which is treatable but takes many months or years to stabilize and there is no known cure.

Lyme Disease is a debilitating and potentially deadly disease, not well understood in the medical community.

Michelle, their mother, is by far the sickest with a form called Neuro Lyme, which involves the central and peripheral nervous system. She experiences a wide variety of symptoms that include nausea, severe painful inflammation in different areas of the body, and symptoms mirroring Bell's Palsy and Meningitis. Her symptoms are so severe that she is often unable to walk or sit up.

The family has been fortunate to find a health practitioner who specializes in treating Lyme.  Treatment for Michelle and the children with Lyme has included antibiotics and medications, supplements, herbs, and alternative methods for immune system support. The most effective treatment has been Ozone IVs.

What is ozone?  It kills the viruses, parasites, bacteria, etc. that are in the blood. This then takes the toxic load down lower so that the immune system has a better chance.
This entails 7-8 hours hooked up to an IV twice a week.   This level of treatment is time- consuming and draining both financially and emotionally on Michelle and her family. Each ozone treatment is $125.   In addition, each IV treatment involves several other meds and processes to cleanse her blood, making the total for each treatment $300.  After months of treatment, Michelle's veins have collapsed, which makes the IV hook-ups nearly impossible and the attempts very painful, and the family’s finances are drained.  Without treatment, Michelle is rapidly declining and the possibility of this disease taking her life is very real.

So what can be done?  Non-IV ozone treatments are possible to do at home, but the equipment is cost prohibitive for this family of ten.   With five of them needing treatment, the home setup will provide the family the ability to treat those with Lyme without further exhausting their energy and finances. It will give them back more of their family and homeschooling time. The cost of the equipment is substantial, as is the oxygen rental and supplies needed for ongoing treatments.

Right now, the Bennetts need help raising $4000 to get started. Of this, $2200 will cover the ozone generator and all of its components and freight shipping.  Additionally, they will need to rent oxygen equipment, purchase medical supplies, have ongoing bloodwork and tests, and continue treatments inside and outside the home.  The non-IV ozone apparatus would greatly reduce the number and frequency of IV treatments Michelle would need and would provide ozone treatments for the children. The  $4000 will not cover even half of the costs, but they are desperate for help to offset the large equipment purchase, rental, and supplies. Again, almost none of this is covered by insurance. They would be so grateful for any help.

If you feel led, please contribute.  Any money donated will go directly to the Bennett family. If you cannot or are not led to contribute financially, the Bennetts would be so grateful for your prayers lifting up their family during this health crisis. Pray specifically for radical healing.
