My name is Pamela, my husband Joe got sick 8 months ago around Thanksgiving time. He lost his job because he was sick. About a month ago we found out he had Lymph node cancer and was in the hospital for a month. While all this was going on he was getting unemployment and it particially helped with rent and bills, but it stopped last week. We went to social services to get assistance because he's a veteran and can't work because of his cancer. They turned us down because they think I make too much money. We are struggling with paying the rent and if we dont get help we will have no where to live. We have one month till our rent is due, and don't know how we are going to pay it. Please do anything you can to help us out. It would mean so much to the both of us. Thank you.
