Israel Arriaza

You all know Israel Ariazza. Some of you know him as a friend, some of you know him as a family member, and some of you know him as a colleague. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Israel over the last several years as a colleague at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital, where he serves as the registration coordinator of our ED. What I have learned about Israel is that he is the consummate professional, always willing to go the extra mile for his staff, his ED and his hospital. What I need for us to do now is go the extra mile for Israel and his family. This morning, they lost everything they had from the result of a fire. While Israel and his significant other are safe, they lost pretty much everything else they had, including their dog. It is times like this that we, as friend, family and colleagues need to put ourselves aside and help out a truly good person. Any little bit will help.
