Jackson Scharf has been diagnosed with Arteriovenous Malformation, AVM. AVM is a tangle of abnormal blood vessels connecting arteries and veins in the brain. It is very rare, affects less than 1% of people, but usually goes undetected until the blood vessels rupture and causes bleeding in the brain. This is what happened to Jackson on September 2. We are raising money to help the Scharf family with any expenses they will incur during this heartbreaking time.
