Help James pay the bills!

Hello!

I'm raising money for my friend James (name changed for anonymity). I've known James for a couple months now and he is truly one of the strongest men I've had the pleasure of knowing. He has an unbreakable resolve, always sees the bright side of things, and is incomparably kind. James is a family man, and he still keeps in contact with his sons who live elsewhere. He has two Associates in English and Creative Writing, and is a big fan of poetry. Lately, James has been living (unbeknownst to the landlord) in the basement of an apartment building, but he was recently offered a proper apartment! He needs some help paying rent and bills for now, but he is hoping to use his new permanent address to get an ID, and then a job! Until then, the landlord has offered to pay him for helping around the building, which he had been doing for a while free of charge. 

We all know COVID-19 is disproportionately affecting Black folks, so please, help a Black man get the living situation he deserves! Open your purse!
