Electrocution Survival

Matt and Ashley Key recently got married and is celebrating their 3-year wedding anniversary.  They had just bought their 1st house two weeks before tragedy struck.  Matt had just celebrated his birthday on the 13th and the following Monday he was involved in an accident.  Matt and his co-worker were electrocuted with over 14K volts.  He was life flighted to Grady Hospital in Atlanta for extreme burns and was not guaranteed to make it through the night. Thanks to all our prayer warriors and the amazing help from Grady, he made it. He had surgery on Friday the 18th for his first skin graft and treatment of his burns.  He is healing well and is in amazing spirits, but we are concerned for what lies ahead with his healing process.  All of our medical bills should be covered, however, it doesn’t cover the bills of everyday expenses it will take for his therapy and future expenses that will arise.  We are not seeking handouts, but this has definitely changed our way of life in which we were not prepared for.  Having an emergency fund in case we need help would be helpful.  Having an emergency fund in case there is a need to help pay bills and anything else that pertains to his injury would be helpful. 

Any extra money that is raised will be donated to Grady Hospital Burn Unit as well as to the power companies to ensure the protection of their workers.  We appreciate the overwhelming amount of prayers, love, and concern.
