Bill and Scott Dollahite Challenge

This year Bill Dollahite gathered a small group of friends and family came together and dedicated their time, sweat and hearts to help Bill Dollahite's son and a young miracle race driver named Scott Dollahite who has overcome overwhelming obstacles to even walk much less be one of the top drivers in America.

Scott competed in his first go-kart race at age 4. As a teenager he battled back from a serious spinal cord injury, nearly lost his left foot and endured his biggest loss in life when losing his loving mother to cancer. Scott became an inspiration by turning this adversity and heartbreak into a passion and breathtaking talent behind the wheel of a racecar.  Scott’s passion brought that group of friends and family together to give him the opportunity that he so richly deserved.

Scott’s current journey led him to the Pirelli World Challenge and its world stage on CBS Sports television with its 58 million viewers.  While Scott has helped many race drivers over the years as a co-driver and coach, this is the first time he has ever competed in a full championship series and for a world championship.

Scott’s debut at Circuit of the Americas, not surprisingly to his friends and family, stunned the racing world when he qualified on the pole in front of veteran teams, drivers and fans.  Throughout the season, Scott has continued to beat overwhelming odds and has continued to exceed the expectations of his competitors, organizers and fans.

With the finish line in site and championship in reach, all financial resources have been exhausted.  We have to raise funds for transportation, equipment, travel, operating and parts costs in preparation for the last two races of the world championship.  We are simply out of time and I – we - are asking for your help for Scott.   This is a life changing moment and opportunity in the life of a young man driven by passion who has been an inspiration to so many.  We will be iternally grateful for your support in helping Scott continue his journey and to inspire those with overwhelming challenges.
