medical expenses

My name is Brittany, and I am Wesley's daughter. I have set up this go fund me account to help with his expenses from surgery.

In 2019, Wesley had a liver transplant due to cirrhosis of the liver. He continues to deal with the medical expenses from his first surgery and will soon have another surgery, this one on his heart. Disability helps with the majority of his monthly expenses but does not cover all of them or his increasing medical expenses. On February 9, 2023, he will have open heart surgery to have his aortic valve replaced as well as to fix a blockage found while completing pre-surgery testing.

While he is recovering, Wesley will not be able to work and will be dependent solely on his disability to cover expenses. We are asking for donations to cover his medical expenses for his heart surgery and to help with monthly bills while he is recovering.

Due to Wesley’s health issues, he hasn't been able to do some of the activities that he is passionate about. He has always been around cars and has a love for classic hot rods. He also loves being able to work on cars/trucks for himself and others. He has always enjoyed going to watch his daughter play softball and traveling out of town to watch her play. He's been her biggest fan and supporter since she was a little girl. He has one grandson and two granddaughters. Wesley loves spending time with them and teaching his grandson how to work the tractor and working in the yard. He is very involved in the church (Mt. Hope UCC) and adores his grand puppy Brinkles who rarely left his side after his surgery. We hope that after his heart surgery, Wesley will get back to all the things he loves!
