Motorcycle Wreck Recovery

Hi, my name is Tony & this is my son, Jake. He is 32 yrs old, a loving father of a beautiful 7 yr old daughter, a husband & a son.

On Saturday, June 24, 2023, Jake was in a severe, single person motorcycle accident and he was life-flighted to UAB from his home city of Alexander City, Alabama for treatment of life-threatening injuries. He is stable at this time however has suffered a crushed pelvis, multiple facial fractures, a brain bleed, broken arm and has severe short term memory loss. The good news is that he WAS wearing a helmet, which saved his life - and for that we are grateful. Jake is a God fearing & loving man, husband & son and we know that God is not done with him here on Earth.

Jake has already undergone surgery to stabilize his pelvis, is currently having facial reconstruction surgery & several more ahead. Once he is released from the hospital, which that date has not been determined, he will go to an inpatient rehabilitation facility to begin his recovery.

Although Jake & his wife are hardworking providers for their family, they do not have medical insurance and the medical bills are and will be astronomical.

Because of this, we have set up this GoFundMe in hopes of providing Jake & his family with just a little bit of extra financial support to help lessen the burden & worries of paying these bills so he can focus on his recovery.
