As many of you know, my beautiful wife suffered a stroke last October.
That day has dealt us many ups and downs. It’s been a long road to recovery. My beautiful wife fought to walk, and succeeded. We felt we were on a path to victory. Bills were being caught up, past due accounts were less and less and I felt extremely happy that things seemed to be falling into place and we could see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Less than a year, and we feel we’re back where we started last October. On August 11, My beautiful wife sustained complete paralysis from the waist down. She was diagnosed with NMO. This news and physical setbacks have devastated her. Nearly 40 days in the hospital, she has finally been transferred to a skilled nursing facility with no set date as to when we’ll be going home.
I’m embarrassed, shattered and hanging by a thread all at once. We need help - the gas, groceries, parking, bills… everything is piling up again. Trying to swing my time with my wife the kids, and work is overwhelming. If anyone can please aid us again, we’d be forever grateful. We’ve only survived to this point with the major help of ALL of you; family, friends, business associates, acquaintances, etc. Thank you for your help -past and present. We love you all.
