Hello All,
Darrell McDonald here; and it is necessary for me to update my "Go Fund Me Acct." For those of you who might be reading this for the first time, I will begin by telling you a little bit about myself. I am 53 yrs. old and have been battling Multiple Myeloma Cancer for over 6 yrs. Whenever I started this "Go Fund Me Acct.", my doctors had suggested I seek this assistance because I am no longer able to work. I have had (2) stem cell transplants (with my own stem cells), multiple chemotherapys, radiation therapy, etc.., and have had very little success. In September 2016 I went to Philadelphia Pa., and attempted to get into a clinical trial study, only to be told that they were no longer accepting any other applicants at this time. I was put at the bottom of a waiting list with hundreds of names ahead of mine. I am also trying to get into other clinical trials in other areas. Since then my cancer has progressed. My doctors (who are very good), are continuing to treat me with chemotherapy. They are also racing the clock the clock to find me an "external stem cell donor match". My son is currently being tested, and I am hopeful that he will be a good match. If he or a match is found,; this $100,000 surgery could happen sometime in February 2017. At this point, I would like to thank in advance, anyone who would offer to be that donor, but it is not as simple as you might think. Also, to thank everyone who researched "miracle cures". Im going to tell you a little joke; if I could swallow the Tequilla worm, you know that I would be willing to try these cures, IF I knew they were any good. I am so very, very grateful to everyone who is "sowing into my life", whether monetary, visits, prayers, or whatever you can. I really want you to know that my faith is strong, my GOD is able, and the victory is ours. I still need your help. Thank you and GOD bless you
Sincerely,
Darrell McDonald
