My name is Dr. Jacqui Lockwood, and I am heading to Haiti to provide medical care for an impoverished people.
This is my second trip with Phoenix Rising for Haiti; a non-profit group based out of Phoenix, AZ. We are a group of medical professionals who will be providing everything from acute care to prosthetic fitting and use.
All funds will be used to transport our team and supplies from the US to Pau de Paix, an area that was devastated by both an earthquake and hurricane in the recent years.
I will be traveling in October, and all funds recieved to this account will be used to acquire supplies or assist with travel. I will be the responsible party for withdrawing these funds and applying them to the needs of our team. Any excess funds will be used to directly purchase additional supplies, or in ensuring that our supplies reach our destination.
I have been there once before and have felt the undeniable need and exceptional gratefulness these people have for our skills, support, and love.
Your donation will help us meet real needs that will most likely go unmet without our intervention.
