Funeral Expenses

My beautiful mother, Mercedes, passed away unexpectedly less than 48 hours ago. She was in the hospital and was to have a procedure done and unfortunately she went into cardiac arrest and complete kidney failure, and she passed away hours later.

We met with funeral directors to set up arrangements for her, and the out of pocket cost is more than we have. Unfortunately there is no life insurance policy because my mom had pre existing conditions that would have made the premiums way too high, and even though she had pre existing conditions, we never would have thought that roughly a month after her 73rd birthday, we would be making arrangements for her funeral. We thought we still had plenty of time with her.

My parents live on a fixed income and my siblings and I are putting in everything we can but we are seeking donations to help with the remaining cost. We are grateful for any amount you can donate.

Once arrangements are set up, I will let everyone know.
