Trying to save our Princess!

I am not sure what is going on in the world, or in this town, but it's the world we live in.  My name is Yadira, and my family needs your help. This morning around 10:30-10:50AM, our furr buddy Princess was shot. The person or people involved are unknown. I was outside playing with Princess, along with her sister Bella and brother Martin. It was like any other Friday. I was enjoying my day off, a beautiful day in Desert Hot Springs. That "beautiful" day turned into a horrible, horrible day. I went inside to get some water, not even 5 minutes after I came inside from playing with my pets, I heard a shot fired. I was a bit nervous and concerned for my safety, so I didn't rush outside because I wasn't sure if more shots were going to be fired. I did not know what was going on. Suddenly, I see Princess on our driveway struggling to get up, I run outside, and see blood POURING from her shoulder and leg, and she couldn't walk. I called my father right away because I did not know what to do. I was in shock, I started crying my eyes out. I ran inside to grab a towel to stop the bleeding the best I could. The police was called, they showed up right away,  and did what they could. Unfortunately, there isn't any suspects at the moment. Princess is currently at the animal hospital in Palm Springs, in cricital condition, and it upsets and saddens me to say that they refuse to perform any surgery on her until we give them some money. They denied us payment plans, they denied everything. They even mentioned something about us signing off our rights to our Princess and putting her up for adoption. Which is absurd! I can not believe that I am hearing all this from the Vet. I know $4500.00 is much to ask for, but any dollar, any penny would help right now!!! I don't expect to recieve the full amount that we are asking for, because I know we all have our lives and personal things to take care of, but any help is appreciated. Right now I am trying to find the words to explain to my younger sister the terrible news, being that Princess has grown up with her since she was small. If there is anything or anyway I can pay everyone in return I will. At this point we are willing to try anything to get our Princess to come back home!
